Goal:
The main goal for Assent is to have fun and progress through raid content. Being on a PVP server we do enjoy PVPing, but our main objectives will be through PVE.
Assent will raid as much content as possible and learn it as a guild. We will not use exploits to defeat raid encounters.
Assent will often times setup PVP groups when not raiding or setup guild groups to help attune new members or do quests.
General:
- Members must attend minimum of 50% of raids, and are expected to attend at least 80%.
- Inactive members are removed from the guild. You will be required to re-app if/when you return.
- Publically challenging an officer's decision will not be tolerated. If a member has an issue they should talk with an officer in private.
- All members are at least 18 years of age. The discussions in guild chat and on Vent are often mature. We also do not want to fuck with little bitches who whine about loot.
- Assent avoids conflict with those outside of the guild. Anyone not following this rule will be subject to guild removal.
- Members are expected to be able to farm gold for repair bills and to farm mats when needed. If you cannot pay for your repair bills you will be no use to us on raids.

Loot System:
Assent uses a zero-sum DKP system. This is a points system used to distribute loot. Zero-sum means for every point spent on items it is distributed evenly to the members who attended that raid.
There are times which a zero-sum system awards people for showing up to farm raids and skipping the learning phases of new encounters.
We will often flip the scales and give people dkp for showing up to the learning phases and shaving points off of the farm events to encourage members to show up to help learn new events.
Application Process:
All applicants to Assent must be 18 years of age. If we find out you are not, expect to be removed unless you have shown that you're mature enough to remain in the guild.
The application process has a few phases. We do not have a big process to go through. The main portion of the application will just be an applicant raiding and proving their skill to the guild.
1. ) Application stage - This begins when someone applies to Assent. Once approved by officers the applicant can move into the next stage. This stage can take up to a week. If you are turned down due to your class being currently filled you may app again later.
2. ) Trial stage - When you reach trial stage you will be invited to the guild. At this stage you will attend raids and be evaluated by full members on your skill and ability to follow directions. Trial members do earn dkp as soon as they have the Assent tag. Trial members may only bid on an item if no full members have bid. We encourage our apps to bid on items which are upgrades so that they can gear as fast as possible. Assent wants you to be geared well enough to raid in the highest possible content we are doing.
3. ) Full member - Full members have full access to forums and are highest priority on loot. If at any point a full member does not follow the rules of the guild or piss an officer off (mainly Kaidman) expect to get your ass booted.
The Bottom Line:
Assent is here to beat shit down. If this is not included in your goals of World of Warcraft then Assent is not the guild for you.
